Challenge

Hiring new employees and conducting background checks can be a challenging process. There are various factors to consider, including sourcing and attracting qualified candidates, verifying their employment history, education, and criminal records, among others.

The process of background checking in particular can be very time-consuming and resource-intensive, taking into account that there are around thousands of courts that share their records across 40 different platforms.

So the idea of the application was to become a single point of entrance if you need to make a criminal background check for a person.

Description

The project was developed in collaboration with Foundevs technology partner from Estonia.

The backend platform utilizes basic information about an individual to run a parsing algorithm against multiple websites, with the goal of determining if there are any criminal records associated with this person. It has the ability to both add new websites to parse and monitor the existing ones. The results of the parsing process are then presented to the end-users.
